If you are in the envious position of having access to funds, you might be looking towards the higher end of the car market in the hunt for your new vehicle, but that does not necessarily mean that you should spend indiscriminately.

Even if you are in the position to go for a luxury car sale , there are still considerable savings to be made. Even more so, as shaving a couple of percent off a luxury car price will bring higher absolute savings. The key word is to negotiate and negotiate hard.

The used car dealer or private seller will have a higher profit on a more expensive car and they will often be desperate to make the sale. Use this as your unique opportunity to drive a hard bargain, don't shy away! However much you want to buy that car, they will want to sell it just as much.

Make sure that the seller knows that you are in a cash position and be prepared to walk away if you do not receive a fair price for your dream car. Even if the dealer can no longer move on the car price, maybe they can include some extras such as an extended warranty.

So before you commit to buying your luxury car, make sure you have done everything in your power to gain the maximum discount.
